"Wellness Wednesdays" Return
to Jack Hopper Cafeteria

The Jacksonville State University Wellness Center's health promotion campaign—“Get Well JSU”—featuring "Wellness Wednesdays" in the Jack Hopper Cafeteria, a monthly event—continues with the "Wellness Wednesday" program scheduled to take place Sept. 12th.

Faculty, staff and students will be offered a healthy-choice lunch line—located on the left side of the main food line beginning at 11:30 a.m.—featuring healthy foods such as braised teriyaki chicken, brown rice with diced carrots, sautéed spinach, tossed salad and fruit salad for September.

Following lunch Gina Mabrey, JSU's Wellness Coordinator, will present a short program "FALL into Fitness" pointing out the variety of services offered by JSU's Wellness Center.

After Mabrey's presentation, serious contenders are encouraged to participate in a 15-minute walk—so bring your sneakers.

The following is a schedule of upcoming wellness topics to be discussed.

* September 12th…………..Fall into Fitness

* October 10th……….........Breast Cancer: Reduce Risk

* November 14th…………...Toss Out Tobacco

* December 5th………........De-Stress your Holiday
