Topics covered in this workshop include system requirements, logging into
Blackboard, My Institution tab, accessing a course, basic content addition,
instructor/course announcements and staff/faculty information.

Adding Content and Assignments (1.5-2 hours)
Topics covered in this workshop include course design, functionality and
creation of learning units, glossary, assignment creation/submission tool,
course links, course copy procedures and settings. This workshop is geared towards faculty
who have completed the “Getting Familiar with My Blackboard Course” or the

Topics covered in this workshop include Blackboard email functions,
discussion board, virtual classroom, chat, user groups and student homepages. This
workshop is geared towards faculty who have completed “Adding Content and
Assignments” or the equivalent.
