Learning by the Lake Series: Butterflies

Join the USFS and JSU Field School for this fun and educational program. Lepidopterist (Buttefly Expert) Vitaly Charny will be sharing his insights and information for studying butterflies in Alabama along with his photographs (many from the JSU Field Schools' hikes around NE Alabama).

Program will be located at Coleman Lake Recreational Area in the Talladega National Forest near Heflin, AL. Take advantage of the beautiful location and camp for the weekend! Family friendly.

Call the field school for easy directions to Coleman Lake. This program is less than 45 minutes from Jacksonville.

Date:      Saturday, September 8, 2007 (2nd Saturdays May – October)

JSU Field Schools are partnering with the United States Forest Service (Shoal Creek District) to offer this educational and entertaining series. A different topic will be covered at each program.
