Mostly Ghost Stories in Spooky Storytelling Session

Enchanted Children at Storytelling 2006

A spooky Saturday night campfire storytelling guaranteed to put shivers up your spine! Learn about NE Alabama's finest spooks and legends from JSU Field Schools' storyteller, Renee Morrison.

Storytelling is being held in Cheaha State Park's Bald Rock Retreat Lodge on Saturday, September 29, 2007 from 6:30-7:30 p.m.  There is no admission fee for this event.  The program is open to the general public and admission is free of charge.  Families are welcome with only G-rated stories being told.  However, you should be forewarned that kids might not sleep alone for a while!!

The storytelling session tops off the Cheaha Arts & Crafts Festival scheduled at the park from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. that Saturday.  A cook-off and tasting competition is also part of the festivities planned for this special September event scheduled during the last weekend of this month.   For more information about this event, visit their Web site: Cheaha Resort State Park Events & Programs.
