The Small Business Administration in conjunction with the Alabama Cooperative Extension System, Blount County Chamber of Commerce, Jacksonville State University Small Business Development Center, Jacksonville State Center for Economic Development, and the Alabama Small Business Institute for Commerce are hosting a small business loan clinic at the Frank J. Green Building Auditorium in Oneonta, Alabama on July 24, 2007. The Auditorium is located at 415 5th Avenue East.

The loan program presentation will be given at 11:00 a.m. and repeated at 12:00 noon and 1:00 p.m. A free lunch will be provided. Using the Community Express program, start-up and existing business applicants can apply for unsecured loans up to $50,000. This program requires the clients to receive business counseling from a technical assistance provider (TAP) before approved loans are disbursed. The counseling is free. The Jacksonville State University Small Business Development Center will have representatives available to schedule counseling.
