JSU Social Work Club Stocks Local Food Pantries
in Recent Food Drive
The JSU Social Work Club completed "A Can and a Coin" food drive on November 2, 2006. Local food pantries receiving the canned goods, Health Services Center in Hobson City and Community Enabler Developer in Anniston, have been true advocates for those who are often isolated and with emergent circumstances. Maudine J. Holloway, Executive Director of Community Enabler, accepted 248 canned food items and $41.97 in coins "to assist in their mission of making sure no one in Calhoun County goes to bed hungry."
