New Praxis II Score Guidelines for Education Majors

All Education Students:

 

We just received a letter from Dr. Joe Morton, State Superintendent of Education, indicating an adoption of new passing scores for certain areas of the Praxis II.  Please note that some scores did not change while some either increased or decreased.   The new passing scores will take effect June 1, 2007.  All Spring graduates will be covered under the old "provisional" or current scores.  Newly revised and adopted scores will be implemented on June 1, 2007.  Those graduating after May, 2007 will fall under the new score guidelines.  There are still 13 areas which are still in the validation process and we will notify you as soon as we receive the resolution for those remaining areas.
