JSU Recognizes National Collegiate Alcohol Awareness Week Oct. 22-27
Events of Alcohol Awareness Week
Jacksonville State University's Counseling and Career Services, Peer Educators, and Housing Department are sponsoring several events during Alcohol Awareness Week, October 22 - October 27, 2006. During the observance, JSU students will have opportunities to participate in events designed to reinforce responsible attitudes toward drinking and respect for state laws and school policies. They include signing a pledge card and filling out a survey not to drink and drive, and trying on impaired "fatal vision" goggles.

Activities scheduled during Alcohol Awareness Week include:

Monday, October 23

Take the Pledge--"Don't Drink and Drive"
Free Brochures & Pamphlets
Take the time to enjoy a soda and fill out a survey.
4th Floor - Theron Montgomery Building (TMB)
10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Tuesday, October 24

Take the Pledge--"Don't Drink and Drive"
Free Brochures, Pamphlets & Give-Aways!
Fill out a survey.

Wednesday, October 25

Try the Fatal Vision Goggles" & Visit with the Peer Educators!
