International House to Hold Annual U.N. Day Tea Oct. 22
Jacksonville State University's International House is holding their
annual United Nations Day Tea Sunday, October 22 from 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Colonel C.W. Daugette Jr. International House.
The program will begin at 2:00 p.m. Professor Li Fang, of Wuhan, China, is guest of honor at this event.
JSU faculty, staff and the public are invited to the tea, where this year's students will be formally introduced and refreshments
will be served.
Dr. Ketterer said the United Nations is an important organization because
of the media and business connections that exist among countries. The

existence on October 24, 1945, when the charter was ratified by “China, France, The Soviet Union, the United Kingdom,
the United States and by a majority of other signatories.” United Nations Day is celebrated on October 24 each year.
