SBA Loan Program for Small Business Owners

SMALL BUSINESS LOAN CLINIC
$5,000 to $50,000 SBA Loans
No Collateral Required

The Small Business Administration in conjunction with the Talladega Chamber of Commerce, Jacksonville State University Small Business Development Center, Jacksonville State Center for Economic Development, and the Alabama Small Business Institute for Commerce are hosting a loan clinic at the Citizens Hospital Board Room (Bottom Floor) on Thursday, October 26, 2006. Start-up and existing business owners will be able to apply for SBA loans.

A group presentation of the SBA loan programs will be given at 1:00 p.m. The presentation will be repeated at 2:00 p.m. Using the Community Express program, start-up and existing business applicants can apply for unsecured loans up to $50,000.

This program requires the clients to receive business counseling from a technical assistance provider (TAP) before approved loans are disbursed. The workshop and counseling are free. The Jacksonville State University Small Business Development Center will have representatives available for counseling and to assist with the application process.
