Board of Trustees Meet Oct. 16 The Jacksonville State University Board of Trustee will meet beginning at 10 a.m. on Monday, October 16, on the 11th floor of Houston Cole Library. The meeting is open to the public Field Schools Present Program to ASTA Field Schools Promote JSU to ASTA 2006 Field School volunteer Betty Simmons and Renee Morrison presented educational opportunities to the Alabama Science Teacher's Association (ASTA) conference at the McWane Center on October 3-4. They promoted JSU to senior advisors and principals, scheduled 2007 K-12 field trips, and publicized field school programs to over 500 educators from across the state. A few teachers were brave enough to touch "Stripes" the non-venomous king snake.
