Dr. Meehan Says Thank-You
For Great Saturday

Dear Faculty, Staff and Students,

Thank you for your help and participation in Saturday's combined Band Day, Preview Day and Family Day event, which included a 38 - 7 Gamecock victory over Southeast Missouri State in the OVC opener. Sodexho served a record 2,000 lunches, and Paul Snow Stadium was at near capacity with 13,000 attendees.

I appreciate the Southerners and Director Ken Bodiford's efforts toward another successful Band Day, which always attracts many parents and prospective students. Our faculty, staff and students ensured another exciting and effective Preview Day and Family Day.

By any measure, the weekend was a success. Thanks to Coach Crowe and his coaching staff, along with JSU's football team, we couldn't have asked for a better day on Saturday. Again, thank you for all you've done.
