Calhoun Democrats Pick David Zeigler
for School Board Candidate

David Zeigler will be a Democratic candidate this fall for a seat on the Calhoun County Board of Education. Zeigler, from Macon, Ga., is a former chief of police at Fort McClellan. He retired from the U.S. Army in 1994 after 20 years of service. Since then, he has worked at Jacksonville State University. He set up the school's office of minority affairs and today serves as the office director of JSU's McClellan campus and continues to teach diversity education.
