JSU Nursing Center Clinic to Close

After 25 years of service, the Jacksonville State University Nursing Center Clinic is closing its doors. The clinic has become a casualty of new restrictions by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, according to Sarah V. Latham, dean of nursing at JSU.

The Health Department can provide services for former patients of the Jacksonville State University Nursing Center Clinic. Extended hours will be available in August for former patients. People seeking to transfer their medical records, or obtain a copy of them, can stop by the College of Nursing and Health Sciences from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Aug. 1 and 3.
