Hardin Set to take over Controls of JSU Offense

Matt Hardin takes over as JSU's starting quarterback this year after Maurice Mullins ran the Gamecocks' offense for three seasons. Hardin's impeccable timing produced one of the most prolific passers in Florida prep history. The Panama City product threw for more than 2,200 yards and 30 touchdowns as a senior, capping a career that accounted for more than 7,000 yards and 106 touchdowns (77 passing). Coming into this season, he has thrown for 779 yards and six touchdowns in 17 games of a JSU career that has been hampered by shoulder problems.
