Gamecocks Little League Baseball Team

The Jacksonville State University Gamecock Orientation (GO!) Team sponsored a little league baseball team this summer. The team, which was made up of boys ages 8 years old and under, was given the name “Gamecocks” by the GO! leaders.

The Gamecocks represented JSU well by only loosing one game all season and finishing first place in their division of the Jacksonville City Parks and Recreation Department’s little league. At their last game, the Gamecocks were awarded a first place trophy and presented the trophy to the GO! leaders as a gift of appreciation.
