Above, Joker, a titmouse so tame that we're thinking about claiming him as a dependent on our tax form, claims the new block of nuts and seeds placed on the balcony over Thanksgiving holiday. In the photo immediately following, Pecker, our nuthatch, launches from a branch during playtime. Pecker then hams it up on the suet feeder, which is filled with peanut butter, his favorite. Last photo was taken at Oxford Lake over the holiday break. The lead duck seems to be mooning his followers.
