Health Lessons to Piedmont

Five Jacksonville State University nursing students teamed up to implement a program at the elementary school called Healthy B.O.N.E.S., or Building on Nutrition and Exercise in Schools. The program is a requirement for their degree. The goal is to teach children about eating healthy and incorporating exercise into their lives, said Shari Payne, a student who organized the program.
