Tickets are on sale now for Jacksonville State University's annual holiday season Madrigal Dinner, which will be held at the David L. Walters Department of Music on Friday, December 2 and Saturday, December 3 at 7 p.m. The doors will open promptly at 6:15 p.m.

The JSU Chamber Singers and A Capella Choir bring the season's cheer to guests by staging a "Renaissance England" dinner theater that features an evening of music and drama.

The Chamber Singers serve as members of the royal court while the A Capella Choir members are Renaissance Peasants.

A seven-course feast is served to the patrons by the A Capella Choir while the Royal Court entertains everyone.

Choral patrons receive preferred seating in the section closest to the royal court. The patron seating is fifty dollars per seat. Twenty-five dollars of the cost of tickets is tax deductible and goes as a contribution to the JSU choirs for scholarship.

Regular seating is $25 per person. All reservations must be made no later than Tuesday, November 22, by noon. No reservation may be held or accepted without payment. Be sure to indicate the evening of your choice. All sales are final and no refunds will be made. A written confirmation will be sent to you stating that your payment has been received.

Reservations may be paid for by Visa or Mastercard, or checks made payable to the JSU Music Department Choirs. If you are paying by credit card be sure to give your number, expiration date, and signature to authorize payment.

If you are bringing a large group, please send your requests in together; seating for this event is made when the orders are received.

If you are bringing children with you under the age of sixteen please notify us of the number of children, for they are given the prestigious honor of becoming knights or ladies in waiting during the evening festivities.
