Miss JSU Scholarship Pageant Nov. 18

The Miss Jacksonville State University Scholarship Pageant will be held Friday, November 18, at 6:00 p.m. in Leone Cole Auditorium. This year's theme is "Walking on Sunshine."

The Miss JSU Pageant is a preliminary to the Miss Alabama Pageant. Kristian Crowe, Miss JSU 2005, will provide entertainment for the event. Miss Crowe placed in the top 10 of the Miss Alabama Pageant in June.

Teresa Stricklin, a voice professor and Miss Alabama 1978, will serve as mistress of ceremonies and will be assisted by Miss Alabama Alexa Jones.

Nine students will compete for the Miss JSU crown along with more than $10,000 in scholarships and prizes. General admission tickets are $7; student tickets are $5 with student id.
