Web Conference: Best Practices in Developing Accessible Student Services

The Disability Support Services Department will host a web conference on Tuesday, November 15, 2005 entitled, "Best Practices in Developing Accessible Student Services." Increasingly, higher education must address the needs of a student body that is diverse with respect to ability and disability.

Administrators are faced with developing services responsive to the entire student body, evaluating a wide range of needs, understanding legal implications of their policies, and finding the resources necessary to meet student needs within a tight budget. This conference will discuss these issues and provide practical steps to take to increase accessibility for students.
  • Date of Event: 11/15/05
  • Time of Event: 12-1:30 p.m.
  • Location of Event: 139 Daugette Hall
