Faculty Recital Tonight

Music faculty member, Dr. Chip Crotts, trumpet, will present a recital on Friday, 28 October 2005 at 7:30 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church on Henry Road, Anniston. He will be assisted by other music faculty—Dr. Wendy Faughn, piano and Dr. Jerryl Davis, English Horn. The program includes a wide variety of music including "Quiet City" by Aaron Copland.

Dr. Crotts has recently been appointed as a Yamaha International Trumpet Artist. He maintains a busy schedule of guest performances, adjudications and clinic presentations throughout the nation. At JSU Dr. Crotts teaches applied trumpet and directs the JSU Jazz program where he oversees three large jazz bands and several jazz combos.

Please feel free to come and get homecoming kicked off with a recital by one of our newest faculty members at JSU, Dr. Chip Crotts. This presentation is free and the public is cordially invited to this evening of music.
