JSU faculty and staff are invited to attend and participate in the annual JSU Field Schools program planning meeting. This meeting—the Autumn Cider Social—is set for Wednesday, October 19 at 3:00 p.m. on the 11th floor of Houston Cole Library.

The JSU Field Schools will be receiving ideas for 2006 general public programs including outdoor recreation, environmental education, and the arts, that will be presented from the deepest canyon to the highest mountain in Alabama at DeSoto State Park, Little River Canyon, Talladega National Forest, Historic McClellan and Cheaha State Park.

Last year the field schools reached over 1200 participants through general programs and around 18,000 folks with special presentations.

For more information, call Renee Morrison at 256-782-5697 or e-mail her at rmorrison@jsu.edu.
