SUBJECT:       New Benefit – Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

The Office of Human Resources is excited to announce the addition of an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), HorizonCare, to our Group Long Term Disability plan administered by Standard Insurance Company. 

 

With the HorizonCare program, you and your family members can receive confidential help and guidance on a wide range of issues.  The Horizon clinical professionals are ready to answer calls and make referrals in response to marital or family difficulties, emotional strain, depression, anxiety, substance abuse, job-related problems, dependent care needs, legal or financial troubles and other conflicts you and/or your family may be confronting.

 

All full-time regular employees that have been employed by JSU for at least one year are eligible for this benefit at no cost to you.  In the next couple of weeks all eligible employees will receive a brochure giving more detail about the program along with a membership card.
