Walls of Jericho Adventure Hike
Hike through the incredible Walls of Jericho (near Pisgah, Alabama...one mile from the Tennessee state line) which has been described as “a spiritual place…almost like walking into a giant cathedral.” In addition to its natural beauty, this area contains an extraordinarily diverse array of plants and animals, including several globally-imperiled species.

Although only 5 walking miles round trip, this is a very strenuous hike. Biologist Jason Shelton and Dr. George Cline will be leading this unique hike.

Bring a pack with snacks, lunch and water. This event is subject to change due to water levels. Pre-registration is required.

• Date of Event: Saturday, October 22, 2005
• Time of Event: 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
• Location of Event: Meet at JSU library to caravan to Walls of Jericho trail
• Admission Charge: $15 per person (Not recommended for children under 14 years)
