JSU Recognizes National Collegiate Alcohol Awareness Week

Jacksonville State University's Counseling and Career Services, Peer Educators, and Housing Department are sponsoring several events during Alcohol Awareness Week, October 17 - October 21, 2005. During the observance, JSU students will have opportunities to participate in events designed to reinforce responsible attitudes toward drinking and respect for state laws and school policies. They include signing a pledge card and filling out a survey not to drink and drive, and trying on impaired "fatal vision" goggles.

Activities scheduled during Alcohol Awareness Week include:

Monday, October 17
Sign a pledge card and fill out a survey not to drink and drive
2nd Floor Theron Montgomery Building (TMB)
10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Tuesday, October 18
Sign a pledge card and fill out a survey not to drink and drive
4th Floor Theron Montgomery Building (TMB)
10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Wednesday, October 19
Presentation: Mike Reese - "Operation Save Teens"
