Change in Effective Date
for Official Travel
The announcement you received earlier this week about travel changes stated that the effective date was September 13, 2005. We have been informed by the Examiners of Public Accounts that the change in the mileage rate was effective September 1, 2005 and the change in per diem rates was effective September 8, 2005.

If you submitted travel that occurred between September 1st and September 12th paid at the old rates, please notify Allyson Barker by e-mail (abarker@jsu.edu). Provide to her the dates of travel and your vendor number. Corrections, if needed, will be processed.
