UPD Begins Annual "Click it
or Ticket" Campaign
As part of the nation-wide traffic safety program to increase seatbelt usage, the University Police Department will begin its annual "Click It or Ticket" campaign by setting up seatbelt checkpoints throughout campus. Officers from UPD will be ticketing seat belt violations and municipal ordinance violations.

If you are stopped at a checkpoint, be prepared to present your driver’s license, vehicle registration and proof of insurance.

“The University Police will be out in full force this year to ensure that everyone on campus stays safe. If you drink...you drive... you lose”, said Corporal Neil Fetner of the Jacksonville State University Police Department.
