Rainbow over Springfield, Oreg., on Tues., Oct. 19, looking east
with the clouds backed up against the Cascade range. On a clear day
you can see the Three Sisters volcanic mountain range about
75 miles away. This photo and the one below were made about
30 minutes apart.


Tuesday, Oct. 19, sunset at 6:20 p.m. as viewed from "Snob Hill,"
Springfield, Oreg., looking west towards the Coast Range.
