JSU Peer Educators' "Arrive Alive in 2005" Program Underway

2 December, 2004 — The Peer Educators have been busy placing signs, posters and banners around campus, and visiting classrooms asking faculty, staff, and students to sign the "Arrive Alive in 2005" pledge.

The pledge has five points:

  1. Do Buckle Up.
  2. Drive Defensively.
  3. Don't Drink & Drive.
  4. Do Check Your Emotional Health.
  5. Do Reach Out and Help Someone.
Throughout the Southeast many college students do not return to their campuses after the winter break because of preventable accidents. "Arrive Alive in 2005" is a reminder to be safe over this holiday season. The JSU Peer Educators want to see everyone safe and back on campus in 2005.

If you have any questions regarding the Peer Educators contact Counseling and Career Services at 256-782-5475 or visit their website.
