Holiday Concert/Food Drive Dec. 12

2 December, 2004 — The second annual Holiday Concert for citizens of Calhoun County will be presented by JSU’s David L. Walters Department of Music on Sunday, 12 December 2004 at 3:00 p.m. in the Buckner Arts and Exhibit Center at McClellan.

The program is designed to appeal to the whole family and will feature a few of the many musical groups at Jacksonville State University. Appearing will be JSU Chamber Winds, the award-winning JSU Jazz I Ensemble, Encore! Vocal Ensemble, A Cappella Choir, Gospel Choir, Saxophone Quartet and soloist Teresa Cheatham Stricklin.

The program is free to the public. The donation of a non-perishable food item is suggested to assist local community needs. This is under the sponsorship of the Jacksonville Police Department, Jacksonville Fire Department and the University Police Department.

Buckner Arts and Exhibit Center may be reached by entering Baltzell Gate, bear left at the “Y” and continue to the traffic circle, take the first right off of the traffic circle, follow the street up the hill to the four-way stop sign, turn left and the Center is on the left. Follow the “McClellan Event” signs, which will be posted.
