Calhoun County Civic Chorale Winter Concert Dec. 5

17 November 2004 — On Sunday, December 5, 2004 at 3:00 p.m. the Calhoun County Civic Chorale will present its winter concert at the Church of St. Michael and All Angels in Anniston. The program is entitled Songs of Mary and will include works by Hassler, Pergolesi, Brahms, Britten, Dawson and others.

The Chorale is under the direction of JSU Director of Chorale Activities, Dr. Patricia Corbin and is accompanied by Dr. Wendy Faughn, JSU Assistant Professor of Piano. Guest organist for the concert will be Idabelle Gay, Music Associate at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Birmingham.

The Civic Chorale is one of five choral ensembles of the David L. Walters Department of Music at Jacksonville State University. Its members include JSU faculty, students and community members.
