Solo Artist Piano Concert Oct. 22

Dr. Ruth Rendleman


21 October 2004 — Dr. Ruth Rendleman, Professor of Music at Montclair State University, New Jersey, will be presenting a solo piano concert on Friday, October 22, 7:30 p.m. in the Performance Center of Mason Hall. This concert is presented in conjunction with the JSU Piano Workshop and will feature works by Brahms, Bach, Chopin, Debussy, and William Gillock.

Dr. Rendleman has performed as a solo artist and in chamber recitals throughout the New York metropolitan area. Her tours abroad have included performances in Korea, China (where she was artist-in-residence at the Shanghai Conservatory), and Australia. Dr. Rendleman has been the recipient of grants from the National Endowment for the Humanities and has served on the faculty of the prestigious Aston Magna Performance Institute.
