JSU Theatre Season Opens Oct. 7

September 29, 2004 — The 2004-2005 JSU Theatre Season opens on October 7th with a classic Shakespearian comedy, As You Like It. The production will run October 7th, 8th, 9th, and 11th at 7:00 p.m. and October 10th at 2:00 p.m. at the Mainstage, Ernest Stone Performing Arts Center. Tickets are $6.00 for adults; $5.00 for senior citizens and JSU personnel; and $4.00 for students and military. Call 782-5648 for reservations.

"All the world's a stage," we are reminded by Jaques in As You Like It, one of William Shakespeare's best loved comedies and our season's opening production. Along with the foolishly wise Jaques, we'll meet the wisely foolish Touchstone, the merrily exiled Duke, the enchanting young lovers Rosalind and Orlando, and a green forest full of other richly comic and romantic characters. It's the perfect show to begin a season guaranteed to prove that the stage is also "all the world."
