August 6, 2004 -- Federal employment opportunities are growing at JSU in partnership with the Anniston Army Depot and Redstone Arsenal! Seven co-op students are currently employed at the Depot in Accounting, Public Administration, and Technology with up to ten new openings in Computer Science and Business slated for the Fall 2004.

Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville has also hired JSU students! Two students from the college of Business are scheduled to begin working in the Fall and Spring 2004 semesters.

If you are interested in finding out more, Career Placement Services will be hosting a Federal Employment Workshop on Wednesday, September 29th, at the Houston Cole Library beginning at 3:00 p.m. Timothy Grey, the Director of Personnel and Training at the Redstone Arsenal, will be leading the sessions to be held in the Library computer lab. In addition to providing students with valuable information about the benefits of Federal Employment, Mr. Grey will personally assist any students that wish to submit a Federal application online.
