Col. Wilson Donates Collection of Emerson's Works to Library


Local Emerson scholar, Col. Douglas Wilson, donated a copy of Volume VI
of The Collected Works of Ralph Waldo Emerson, The Conduct of Life, to Houston Cole Library.  Col. Wilson is the general editor and textual editor of this definitive collection of Emerson's works published by Harvard University Press.  The complete series will comprise ten volumes.  Col. Wilson also serves on the Friends of Houston Cole Library Board of Directors.
