Phi Alpha Theta, the national history honorary society, presents
its�Inaugural Lecture Series on Tuesday, October 28.� Dr. Russel
Lemmons will be speaking on his upcoming book, Ernst Thalmann:
Imprisoned, Murdered, Besmirched.� Thalmann was the leader of the
German Communist Party in the years before Adolf Hitler came to power.�
Imprisoned and murdered by the Nazis, he became an important hero in East
Germany during the Cold War.�
Everyone is welcome.� The lecture is at 7
