What a wonderful time for a hike.� The weather is great and the hills
around DeSoto State Park and Little River Canyon are covered with fading reds,
oranges, and yellows.� Bring a daypack with lunch, snacks, water, and other
personal needs.�� A camera and binoculars are suggested.� Dress
for the weather and be sure to wear comfortable shoes.� This hike will be
moderately strenuous.� Pre-registration is required.
JSU's Little River Canyon Field School is now accepting reservations for
this program.� Those interested are encouraged to call Matt Beall at 256-782-5697 for
additional information and reservations.� Please be sure to sign up early
for future activities of the JSU Field Schools!
