September 16, 2003 -- The Longleaf Alliance, Auburn University, Jacksonville State University, AL Forestry Commission, GA Forestry Commission,USDA Forest Service and US Fish and Wildlife Service are hosting the Mountain Longleaf Conference October 15-17 at Jacksonville State University's Leone Cole Auditorium. This conference is open to individuals and organizations with interest in mountain longleaf pine and associated plant and animal communities. The general sessions and tour will focus on management needs, successes and opportunities as related to mountain longleaf. A registration fee will be charged.
