Jenny Earley Crowned JSU's 2002 Homecoming Queen





November 8, 2002 -- With the blaze of the Jacksonville State University annual homecoming bonfire as the backdrop, Jenny Earley, a senior from McCalla, Alabama was crowned JSU's 2002 Homecoming Queen Thursday night.

Miss Earley is an Elementary Education major. She is president of Phi Mu sorority, a JSU Peer Counselor, JSU Ambassador and a member of the Student Government Association.

The other four members of the Homecoming Court, in alphabetical order, are:

  • Miss Ashley Downing, from Anniston, Alabama, a sophomore in Biology with a minor in business. She is an SGA senator as well as a member of Phi Mu.
  • Miss Carrie Howard, from Selma, Alabama is a senior in communication with a minor in Spanish. She is a member of the Society of Professional Journalists and is a member of Alpha Xi Delta.
  • Miss Alesha Ingram, from Louisville, Kentucky is a junior majoring in Sociology with a minor in management. She is a JSU a Peer Counselor, peer educator, resident assistant and SGA senator.
  • Miss Ashley Stedham, from Jacksonville, Alabama is a sophomore with a double major in marketing and fashion merchandising. She is a member of Phi Eta Sigma as well as Alpha Omicron Pi.
