JSU 2002 Homecoming Court


November 1, 2002 -- Approximately 600 Jacksonville State University student cast their votes on Thursday to select the five women who would be the 2002 Homecoming Court. Students were able to vote for up to five to narrow down the Homecoming Pageant's Top Ten to who would be on the court.

Voting for Homecoming Queen will be on Thursday, November 7th at the TMB, and the winner will be announced at the Pep Rally that evening.

The 2002 Homecoming Top Five are:

  • Ashley Downing, a sophomore from Anniston, Alabama. Sponsored by Sigma Phi Epsilon, she is a biology major with a business minor.
  • Jenny Earley, a senior from McCalla, Alabama. She is majoring in elementary education and is sponsored by Phi Mu.
  • Carrie Howard, a senior from Selma, Alabama. She is a a communication major and her minor is Spanish. Howard is sponsored by Alpha Xi Delta.
  • Alesha Ingram, a junior from Louisville, Kentucky. She is majoring in sociology and her minor is management. Ingram is sponsored by Delta Sigma Theta.
  • Ashley Stedham, a sophomore from Anniston, Alabama. She has a double major in marketing and fashion merchandising. Stedham is sponsored by Alpha Omicron Pi.
