JACKSONVILLE -- July 31, 2002 --
Jacksonville State University will be participating in the United Way Day of Caring event that will be
held Friday, August 9. Kick-off for the event begins at 7 a.m. at the Old Henry Farm Restaurant.
JSU volunteers will be working with volunteers from Jacksonville Hospital to help clean up the Girl
Scout�s Camp Cottaquilla. Participants in the event will be given a complimentary Day of Caring
T-shirt. They will also be served breakfast at the barn, pizza and, of course, Girl Scout cookies.
