Dr. Cynthia Harper |

JACKSONVILLE -- July 30, 2002 --
Dr. Cynthia Harper, of Jacksonville, has been named Associate Dean of the College of Education and
Professional Studies at Jacksonville State University. Harper, who has taught at JSU since 1975, earned her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Education at JSU. She received her doctorate at the University of Alabama. Her teaching specialization is in the area of special education. Dr. Harper’s teaching emphasis includes classroom management for teachers, social skill development, methodology for special education populations, program development for at-risk students, and "best practice" in practicum and internship experiences. She has already started working in her new position. |
