JSU Drama Department Presents "Reckless" |

JACKSONVILLE -- October 5, 2001 --
The Jacksonville State University Department of Drama
presents Reckless by Craig Lucas with evening performances on October 18, 19, 20, and 22 at 7:00 p.m.; a matinee will be performed on Sunday, October 21, at 2:00 p.m. All performances will be held in JSU's Ernest Stone Performing Arts Center. Tickets for Adults are $6.00; JSU Faculty and Senior Citizens - $5.00; Students and Military - $4.00. Groups of 20 or more receive a discount when requested but tickets must be paid in advance. Brief Synopsis: It's Christmas Eve. Rachel is looking out the window when her husband tells her that it might be a good idea if she left since he's hired a "hit man" to kill her. Thus begins the startling dark comedy filled with bizarre characters and events and the fractured life- styles of today. Craig Lucas paints a picturesque visions of life as Rachel winds her way through the next years and eventually back to an ill-fated reunion with her husband.
