JACKSONVILLE -- June 7, 2001 --
Jacksonville State University Department of Drama presents Moon Over
Buffalo, the uproarious comedy by Ken Ludwig. Performances will be held
in Ernest Stone Performing Arts Center on June 21, 22, 23 and 25 at 7:00
p.m. and June 24 at 2:00 p.m.
An Acting couple, who fancy themselves a modern-day Lunt and Fontanne,
are on tour in Buffalo, New York in 1953. Fate gives these second-rate
actors one last chance at fame and a shot at starring roles in "The
Scarlet Pimpernel." Legendary director Frank Capra is on his way to see
their performance. What will he actually see when he gets there? If
you enjoyed the madcap antics of last year's Noises Off, then this show
will be set to tickle your funny bone.
