Fund Established to help Castle

A medical fund has been established for a local nursing student with cancer.

Danielle Castle, a 25-year-old nursing student at Jacksonville State University, has been diagnosed with second-stage atypical Hodgkin’s disease, which is cancer.

Castle has no insurance and is now acquiring high costs with treatments and medications for her disease. She lives with her mother and her grandmother. Her grandmother is recovering from quadruple bypass surgery.

Donations to the Danielle Castle Medical Fund can be made at Family Savings Federal Credit Union in Gadsden or Rainbow City, account No. 9007901.

Donations also can be made at several credit union service centers:
