JSU Drama Presents The Foreigner

JSU Drama presents its final season show, The Foreigner, by Larry Shue, June 19, 20, and 21 at 7 p.m. and June 22 at 2 p.m.

In this inspired comic romp, "Froggy" LeSeuer brings a shy young friend named Charlie to a fishing lodge in rural Georgia. Charlie is terrified of making conversation with strangers, so to save him some heartache, Froggy tells his other companions that Charlie doesn't speak English. When Froggy leaves, the other fishers begin to openly discuss some damaging revelations, assuming Charlie doesn't understand a word.

"I laughed start to finish at one comic surprise after another." ~The New Yorker.

This performance is appropriate for ages 12 and up. Tickets are $9 for adults; $7 for JSU personnel and senior citizens; and $5 for students, military, and children. They may be purchased in advance by phoning 782-5648 and may be paid for with MasterCard, Visa, Discover, personal checks or cash.

All JSU Drama performances are on the Mainstage of Ernest Stone Performing Arts Center, corner of Church Avenue and Eleventh Street.
