English Department Selects Recipients of 2008-2009 Scholarships

Recipients of the JSU English Department's 2008-2009 scholarships have been selected. Emily Sexton, a graduate of Hewitt-Trussville High School, has been awarded the Department's Freshman Writing Scholarship. Meredith Garrett, of Gadsden, will receive the Department's Calvert Scholarship for advanced English majors. Emily and Meredith both intend to pursue careers as English teachers.
