MCIS Hosts 2nd "Numb3rs @ JSU" Workshop



The Mathematical, Computing, and Informational Sciences (MCIS) Department is excited to announce its 2nd Annual "Numb3rs at JSU" workshop that is open to any high school counselor/teacher to attend.� In addition to learning more about the latest that the MCIS department has to offer (e.g., robotics, game and Web design, etc.), this year the workshop offers "hands-on" breakout sessions in the afternoon that provides additional training opportunities.�

At present, the following sessions are scheduled to be offered: MatLab & Maple (presenters Dr. Monica Trifas & Dr. Jaedeok Kim), Math Manipulatives (presenter Rhonda Kilgo), Multimedia & Pod Casting (presenter Gaus Alam), Google�s Suite of Applications (presenter Dr. Aaron Garrett).
