JSU Athletics Sendoff for JSU Softball to Tuscaloosa Regional of the 2008 NCAA Softball Tournament

The Jacksonville State University campus and the Gamecocks community are invited to give the Gamecock women’s softball team a “Sendoff to the Tuscaloosa Regional of the NCAA Softball Tournament” at 9:00 a.m. tomorrow morning, Wednesday, May 14 from the Gamecock Center Parking Lot. The team will be leaving from Kennamer Hall and load the buses in the Gamecock Center Parking Lot behind Kennamer between the Gamecock Center Entrance and Paul Snow Stadium's West Side.

Head coach Jana McGinnis and the women’s newly crowned Ohio Valley Conference Champion Gamecocks Softball team (38-14) face Florida State University (37-26) at 4 p.m. on Thursday at the Alabama Softball Complex. If you can not make the trip, the game will be broadcast locally by WLJS Radio (92J FM).

Jana McGinnis reports her whole Jacksonville State softball team is excited about the draw and destination for its first NCAA Tournament appearance since 1996.
